The following are the requirements for opening an Individual Savings Account:
- Two Completed Signature Cards.
- Four recent colored passport photographs each of authorized signatory duly endorsed by the account holder.
- Completed account opening package (To be provided at the Branch Office).
- In case of joint accounts, Signature cards are to be completed by all signatories with signing instructions e.g. “Both to sign”, or “Either to sign” or “Any two or three to sign,” clearly.
- In case of minors, four passport photographs should be included in the mandate.
- Provision of Means of identification i.e Voters Card, National ID Card, International passport, Driving License
The following are the requirements for opening a partnership savings Account.
- Two Signature Cards (to be completed by Authorized Signatories)
- Copy of Registered and Executed Partnership Agreement to be submitted
- Registration of Business (if the partnership operates under a Business Name).
- Four (4) recent passport photographs each of the Authorized Signatories (colored passports).
- Registered Address of the Business to be given.
- Copy of Resolution appointing the Bank as Bankers to the partners
- Completed letter of set-off.
- A Completed Account Opening package (Available at Branch Offices).
- Provision of Means of identification i.e. Voters Card, National ID Card, International passport, Driving License, Utility Bills etc.
The following are the requirements for opening a Corporate savings Account.
- Corporate Savings Accounts (Companies and Government Parastatals)
- Board Resolution appointing BOA as Bankers and requesting for an Account to be opened.
- Two completed signature cards
- Copy of memorandum and Articles of Association (In case of Limited liability Companies) and copy of Certificate of Incorporation.
- Four (4) recent colored photographs of each signatory.
- Provision of Means of identification i.e. Voters Card, National ID Card, International passport, Driving License, Utility Bills etc.
- Completed Account package for others.
The following are the requirements for opening Clubs, Societies and Voluntary Organization Savings Account
- Two Signature Cards (To be completed by the Authorized signatories).
- Certificate of Registration obtained from the Ministry/Agency responsible for Co-operative Societies; (for sighting and photocopy for records).
- Four (4) recent colored passport photographs of each Authorized Signatory.
- Resolution from the Clubs, Societies or Organizations Executive Committee requesting opening of Account with Bank and specify signatories.
- Completed Letter of set-off.
- Provision of Means of identification i.e Voters Card, National ID Card, International passport, Driving License, Utility Bills etc.
- Completed Account Opening Package for others.

Fixed Deposits
- A letter requesting for the opening of the account and instructing a Branch to transfer an account from the customers existing account In the Branch..
- A cheque drawn on the Customer’s Account in another branch or bank in favor of the applicant, the proceeds of such a cheque must have been obtained before the tenor becomes effective and Deposit Certificate is issued.
- Cash deposit.
- Completed Fixed Deposit Account Opening Form and letter of the set off.
- Two completed signature Cards.
- A letter requesting for the opening of a Deposit Account.

This is a type of savings account specifically for individual women in agriculture, Agro allied and Retail trade. Below are the requirements for opening a LISA account
- Two Completed Signature Cards.
- Four recent colored passports photographs each of authorized signatory duly endorsed by the account holder.
- Completed account opening package (in the Branches).
- Provision of Means of identification i.e. Voters Card, National ID Card, International passport, Driving License, Utility Bills etc.
This type of servings account is for customers in micro enterprise and cooperative group to enable them have a steed and regular income. Below are the requirements for opening an MESA Account.
- Two Completed Signature Cards.
- Four recent passport photographs each of authorized signatory duly endorsed by the account holder (colored passports).
- Completed account opening package.
- In case of joint accounts, Signature cards are to be completed by all signatories with signing instructions e.g. “Both to sign”, or “Either to sign” or “Any two or three to sign,” stated clearly.
- Provision of Means of identification i.e. Voters Card, National ID Card, International passport, Driving License, Utility Bills etc.
