OFFICIAL COMMISSIONING OF THE BANKER’S HOUSE, ABUJA

Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) Banker’s House in Abuja was officially commissioned by His Excellency, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, GCON, SAN, Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria on the 3rd of March, 2022, representatives of Bank of Agriculture were present at the event.
The Bankers House, Abuja, will house the Secretariat of CIBN in the Federal Capital Territory, bringing the services of the Institute closer to people and enhancing productivity and efficiency in service delivery. The building will also host the Permanent Secretariat of the ALLIANCE OF AFRICAN INSTITUTES OF BANKERS (AAIOB), a body that has been in existence for about twenty-five years. In addition, the office will feature a Learning/Incubation hub, a banking hall and a host of other features.
The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria was established in 1963 as the Lagos Local Centre Institute of Bankers, London. It was incorporated in 1976 as the Nigerian Institute of Bankers, a company limited by Guarantee.
